Embracing boredom
Embrace boredom
This is important. Whenever you’re bored, you will probably turn to smartphone. Now when you unlock it and see nothing but Mail, Weather and maybe other boring stuff, you have nothing to distract to. Catch that feeling. I’m bored. I don’t know what to do when I’m waiting for the elevator. Look around. Breathe. Think about someone impoertant to you. Remember something good. Pray. Send positive vibrations to the world. Recite a poem. Smile to yourself. If there’s someone around you, say somthing nice to them, make their day brighter. No one beside you? Enjoy the solitude. Listen to your body. Relax. Take a couple of deep breaths. Release the tension. Stay still. Listen to the sounds that surround you.

Drop the junk, use less, embrace simplicity. By removing distractions, you’ll create space to be filled with attention to what matters.
Boredom
Boredom is the goal. Whenever you feel bored, you’re blessed. That’s when you’re facing reality. Boredom is a feeling that arises when you face your true self. Face it, embrace it, dive into it, experience the maximum of that feeling and you’ll see the path. Dismiss any thought that would promise the ease of pain from boredom. Feel it until you’re fine with it. Look for any opportunity to feel the boredom. It’s your guide to the true self. It will fulfill all your dreams, solve all troubles, and make your life easier. Keep looking for boredom until it you become whole with it.
Boredom is a lack of stimulation. Do you need stimulation to get fed? Or to be safe, or happy, or satisfied? When you need stimulation for somthing, that means there’s something that makes you believe that you’re laking of something. If you feel hungry, you don’t need stimulation to get food. You do it naturally: open the fridge, go to a store, find edibles, etc. If you need to take a leak badly, you will do it no matter of what’s happening around and you won’t need a stimulation to take a dump in Buckingham palace. Resrtictions are social constructs. Natural things should happen naturally. If your nervous system is overstimulated it is natural to break down and cry.
Whenever you feel boredom, insted of looking for external stumulation, take a look inside your self. What would you like to do right now? Maybe you would prefer to take a nap or draw doodle? Just go for it. Your mind is telling you: you are at your own service. This is a moment of freedom, you’re able to do whatever you want. Listen to your immediate feelings, pick up your most sincere desires. Would you like to dance, or sing a song, or go outside and explore the world? Or maybe you’d want to just sit still and let your mind go? At which point you became required of something from oustside of your body to overcome boredom, one of the essential states of mind, like happiness, encouragement, anger, sorrow, grief, or confusion? Boredom is just another cause to move forward.
When you feel happy, you just feel it. You don’t need anything to validate that feeling. You go through to the next state. Same with boredom: if you’re bored, you’re bored. Let it be evolved into something new, don’t push against what’s coming up. Process it and see wher it goes. There’s nothing wrong about being bored. It’s a very natural state of mind, alike any other emotion.
Accept boredom as much as you accept happiness, sadness, enlightment, sorrow, fear, amusement, anger, calmness or any other emotion.
You are you. You are a spectrum, a rainbow of feelings, a multi-dimensinal crystal which contains Everyting in One. Allow yourself into it and realize you’re Whole.
