Georgian Words
Georgian language is full surprises!
- ცუდად [tsudad] – bad (as in bad mood). Resembles Portugese saudade which also means melancholy or nostalgia.
- ორსული [orsuli] – pregnant, literally means “two souls”.
- სამოთხე [samotkhe] – heaven, literally means “three-four”. Three plus four is seven, and seventh heaven in Islam and Judaism refers to the highest of heavens, a place where God resides.
- მცვრთნელი [mtsvrtneli] – a trainer, contains 6 consonants in a row!
